    Designed by mathematician and artist mathgrrl to be a perfectly stylized wireframe, using software to create a precise digital model. The model is then professionally 3D printed in a durable nylon plastic using Selective Laser Sintering.

    The Pentakis Dodecahedron has 60 faces, 90 edges, and 32 vertices.

    • One of the 13 Catalan solids
    • Each face is the same shape
    • Dual of the Truncated Icosahedron
    • It's a Dodecahedron with five-sided pyramids added to each face
    • If you make the pyramids a little taller, then pairs of triangles combine to make rhombuses and you get another Catalan solid, the Rhombic Triacontahedron (!)
